Twenty-seven years ago, I walked into DJ’s Card and Comic book store, and I met a man whom I immediately connected with and with whom I started a lifelong friendship, Mr. Dave Yaccarino.

Back then, I saw so many of Dave’s wonderful qualities as he was serving his customers. The qualities of kindness, fairness, listening to his customers, honesty, integrity, outstanding people skills, hard work, and dedication to his customers.

Little did I realize that years later, we would be working together to serve the citizens of North Haven, and Dave would demonstrate those exact same qualities to our residents as our State Representative.

I am very proud of Dave Yaccarino, and I admire him greatly. Dave is a remarkable man with the highest level of honesty, integrity, commitment, and compassion for everyone.

He always works across the party lines to help create positive outcomes for North Haven, and he is highly respected in Hartford. I hear that regularly when I am in Hartford.

Dave takes his role as our State Representative very seriously, and one example of his commitment is his 100% voting record for 14 straight years.

Dave and I speak every day, and we work very closely together to serve our residents. Dave Yaccarino will always have my support to be our State Representative!

I am very proud to know Dave, to be a close friend of Dave, and to endorse Dave.

I am also very grateful for Dave’s love of our community and for his dedication to our residents.
