Wants What’s Best for Our Community
As a certified nurse midwife, I learned early on that if the health of the mother and child is maintained, the wellness of the family and community will follow. It is with this knowledge that I can say with certainty that Cinzia Lettieri is the State Representative District 35 needs. Cinzia’s mission to ensure access to reproductive care speaks volumes at a time when birthing people are losing their lives to legislation that comes between them and care providers like myself.
As a mother, she understands what our community needs: better paid and family sick time, access to child care, more equity in education, opportunities to learn vocations and trades, and a safe environment for children to learn in, free of hatred and violence. She has performed school safety drills with kids and deeply understands the importance of mental health access and common sense gun legislation.
Cinzia is passionate about supporting the needs of our growing senior population and finding ways to keep them involved and thriving in our community. She is committed to us, listening to the concerns of those who live and work here and has plans to bring those needs to the attention of leaders in Hartford.
Cinzia is one of the hardest-working people I know, volunteering on multiple commissions for the town of Clinton, teaching public school science, and using her M.Ed. in policy and leadership to solve problems in our community. She has the energy and excitement to get things done, and the education and reason to make important choices for us. She lives here, is raising children here, and wants what’s best for our district and its infrastructure for now and for many generations to come. I am excited to see what our incredible communities can achieve under such a capable leader.
