I am writing to express my support for Brandi Mandato’s candidacy for State Senate. I met Brandi a few years ago through our involvement in community events around North Haven. When I first met Brandi, I found her to be intelligent, relatable, warm, and energetic. We were able to connect over the things that I think most working parents think about – how hard it is to balance family life and work, the education our kids receive, and the insanity of the price of daycare.

As I got to know Brandi better, I was fascinated by the work she does to advocate for policies at the state and federal levels, which level the playing field in the economy. I have learned a lot from Brandi over many conversations and have been able to apply what I’ve learned in my own business. I think my company and employees are better off because of these conversations.

When Brandi decided to run for State Senate, I was incredibly excited. There are many complex issues in our community and across Connecticut that require thoughtful solutions. Whether the issue is healthcare, public safety, education, or the economy, I know Brandi has the intelligence, empathy, and depth of experience to find solutions that will help our community thrive. Most importantly, I am supporting Brandi because she understands the challenges that families in our community face because she is facing the same challenges too. What better candidate for office could we ask for?
