Press Release from East Haven Police Department

The South Central Regional Traffic Enforcement Unit's summer initiative begins on Wednesday, May 15 in the Town of North Branford. As in previous years, the unit is made up of officers from the six-town compact of East Haven, North Branford, Branford, North Haven, Guilford, and Madison.

As in previous years, the South Central Regional Traffic Enforcement Unit will target its enforcement efforts in areas where an increase of traffic accidents and other motor vehicle violations typically occur as the weather gets warmer. The team also aims to educate drivers about safe driving practices through this high-visibility, multi-town campaign.
