At the April 16 meeting of the North Branford Town Council, the council issued a proclamation officially recognizing April 30 as National Therapy Animal Day.

Therapy animal teams in North Branford play an essential role in improving human health and well-being through the human-animal bond, interacting with veterans, seniors, patients, students, bringing comfort and healing to those in need.

Mayor Rose Angeloni and the Town Council presented the proclamation to Rose Lynch of Pet Partners, along with her therapy animal Charlie.
