Mother’s Day Tea With Music, Poetry
The Shoreline Theater Academy will host a Mother’s Day Tea and Recital at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at the Shoreline Theater Academy/Kidz Konnection, 61 E. Main St, Clinton.
The event will feature Harpist Megan Sesma and Soprano Allison Landstedt. There will be a tea service and treats at 4 p.m., followed by a recital featuring opera, Broadway hits, Scottish melodies, and the world premiere of ‘A Mother’s Love’ by composer John Tafone, for soprano and harp with Mother’s Day poems read by Shoreline Theater Academy students throughout the program.
Tickets are $60 for couples and $35 for individuals. All proceeds will benefit the Shoreline Theater Academy’s emerging young artists initiative, tackling teen mental health and smart device addiction, to perform at the 2025 Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.
