Tony Ferraiolo to Speak on “Beyond the Binary: A Journey to Self-Love and Acceptance” in North Haven

On Wednesday, March 6, North Haven Pride and Health Care Advocates International will co-sponsor a presentation by Tony Ferraiolo, the director of Health Care Advocates International’s Youth and Family Program, titled “Beyond the Binary: A Journey to Self-Love and Acceptance.” This special event will take place at North Haven Memorial Library at 17 Elm Street from 6 to 8 p.m.
At this event, Ferraiolo will share with the audience how he learned to accept himself and how working with transgender and non-binary youth helped him heal his own heart. He will also bring the audience along for an exploration of his work with trans youth that will be told through the eyes of the youth themselves as he shares drawings from his book series, Artistic Expression of Transgender Youth. Ferraiolo’s presentation is recommended for mature audiences of ages 18 and over.
In addition to his position at Health Care Advocates International, Ferraiolo is known as a compassionate and empowering life coach, as well as a motivating and thought-provoking trainer.
Since 2005, Ferraiolo has provided trainings to over 65,000 people around the country, and he has dedicated himself to promoting both competent and respectful health care for the transgender community by educating providers and advocating on behalf of patients.
