The Frosty 5K, which took place on Jan. 1 and was sponsored by The Rotary Club of Guilford, was a great success this year. The total registration of 803 participants ranged in age from 5 to 86 years, representing 106 cities spanning nine states.

The overall men’s winner was Laurence Merling from Guilford, who finished in a time of 18:12. The women’s winner, at 20:18, was Erin Lopez from Ivoryton.

Guilford Rotary especially thanks its many sponsors for helping to make the event possible, as well as all of the participants and volunteers who donated additional funds at registration, for adding to the success of the race.
