Patricia Lynne Sovinski Kompare, 58, of North Haven, passed away peacefully after many years of illness on Dec. 29, 2023, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

She was the beloved wife of John Kompare. Loving mother of Jenna and Matthew Kompare. Beloved sister of Susan Sovinski and the late Carol Sovinski.

Patty was born in Ansonia on Nov. 30, 1965, the daughter of the late Edward and Jeanne Bartolotta Sovinski. She received her MBA from Quinnipiac College and worked as a CPA at Blum-Shapiro.

The visiting hours will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, at The Havens Family, North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Avenue. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
