Boys’ Ice Hockey

On Dec. 23, the Hand boys’ ice hockey team traveled to West Haven Co-op and fell 6-1.

The team then hosted East Haven Co-op on Dec. 27 and took a 6-0 loss. William McGuire manned the net for the Tigers, allowing six scores while recording 34 saves.

Boys’ Basketball

Hand boys’ basketball hosted Wilton on Dec. 28 and won 68-53. Kyle Hoffman scored 15 points to lead the way for the Tigers, and Thomas McCullough added 13. Aidan Doyle and Sam Markovitz had 12 points each, and Elijah Avery-Turner found the basket for eight points. Tyler Maynard (six points) and Orion Brueckner (two points) contributed to the victory. Avery-Turner also had eight assists and 12 rebounds in the contest.
