Bauer Park Harvest Festival Set for Oct. 14
Press Release from the Beach & Recreation Department
The annual Bauer Park Harvest Festival, a free, old-fashioned country fair at Madison’s historic Bauer Park, will be back on Saturday, Oct. 14. This year’s festival will feature all of the traditional activities, plus a few new ones, and will be a day of fun for all ages, including hay and pony rides, children’s crafts, apple tasting, pumpkin painting, a hay maze, live music, food tent, scarecrow making, cider press, and exhibitors.
Director of Beach, Recreation, and Senior Services Austin Hall said that since its inception, the festival has steadily become one of the town’s most beloved family-fun events.
“The Bauer Park Harvest Festival is a true family event for all ages. There really is something for everyone. Live folk music, hay rides, blacksmith demonstrations, scarecrow building, apple cider tasting, and a falcon show are just some of the exciting events the Bauer Park Committee has planned for the day. I encourage everyone to visit the festival; you won’t be disappointed,” Hall said.
The Bauer Park Harvest Festival is on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bauer Park, 257 Copse Road, Madison.
