Seeking the Support of the Voters
My name is Ron Amara, and along with Paul Radicchi, I am seeking the support of the voters of Chester for the Board of Selectmen in the Nov. 7 election.
There are two very important reasons why I believe the Amara-Radicchi ticket deserves your support.
First, please examine closely the personal qualifications of all the candidates, and determine who has the experience, education, skills, and proven commitment to Chester and its residents and taxpayers. I believe you will be strongly impressed by my own and Paul Radicchi's readiness to serve as the co-CEOs of what is a $14 million-a-year organization.
Second, Chester is facing important immediate and longer-term challenges, including a very controversial so-called affordable housing proposal, massive and potentially very expensive government reorganization, and skyrocketing property taxes.
Paul Radicchi and I ask you not to look at party labels. In a local election, they can be meaningless. Do look at the candidates and ask if they have budget and government and business and community experience. And perhaps most important, which candidates have the deepest and longest ties to Chester and the town's need for community leadership.
I have been in Chester for almost three decades, with my three children engaged in every important aspect of town life. Paul has lived in Chester his entire life, raised his children in Chester, and served the community as I have in many ways.
Nov. 7 will be a very important election for Chester. Paul and I want your vote. We believe it will be the best choice for Chester as a community in which the greatest good can be done for the greatest number of people. The Amara-Radicchi ticket will continue reaching out to you, and thank you.
Ron Amara
