Branford Public Works Department has announced several upcoming road improvement and resurfacing projects that will cause minor delays and detours during construction.

Weather permitting, preparation and milling will begin the week of July 24, followed by paving. The following roads are scheduled to be resurfaced: Damascus Road, from the intersection of Windmill Hill Road to the intersection of Totoket Road and Stony Creek Road; Featherbed Lane, from Damascus Road to Fitzgerald Lane; and Applewood Road (entirety). Street parking on these roads should not take place from sunrise to sunset.

The Department of Public Works is not responsible for any damage done to installations within the town right of way, including irrigation systems, sprinkler heads, stone and brick driveway aprons, or invisible fences.
