Forever Everly at The Kate
The Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center, “the Kate”, will host Everly: The Everly Brothers Rockumentary on Thursday, May 25, at 7:30 p.m. at The Kate, 300 Main Street, Old Saybrook.
The show will blend live music performed by Nick Gallardo and Jared Mancuso with film footage of performances by Don and Phil Everly. The show celebrates The Everly Brothers’ music and their influence on other artists and shares their story through the iconic harmonies in a one-of-a-kind documentary/concert performance. Hit songs from the Everly songbook included are “Bye, Bye Love,” “All I Have To Do Is Dream,” “Cathy’s Clown,” and more. Plus, favorite songs by artists who were heavily influenced by the Everlys, such as Paul Simon and The Beatles will be performed.
