Deep River Police Incident Report for July 28
The Valley Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in the towns of Essex, Deep River, and Chester. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content. Wednesday, July 28
• A 15 year-old juvenile was arrested at 3:49 p.m. and charged with assault in the third degree after he allegedly punched a 16 year-old boy in the face. Both boys are residents of the Mt. Saint John school for boys. The victim was transported to the Shoreline Clinic by staff for treatment of a minor injury inside his mouth. The accused was scheduled for presentation in Danbury Juvenile Court on Aug. 9.
