I favor Governor Ned Lamont’s proposal to upgrade Tweed-New Haven Airport, and would gladly pay a higher fare to use Tweed over Bradley or, certainly, LaGuardia and JFK, all of which cost a lot of time and money to get to and from.
East Haven may not have many amenities compared with Branford, Guilford, Madison, or Hamden, but it has one big one they don’t: the airport. It is time for public officials and residents alike to look ahead and think about how we can use this asset as just that, an asset for the town as a whole, along with the Greater New Haven area.
