Eleanor Mursko, 88, of Clinton, died in Middletown on Oct. 16. She was born in New Haven on Nov. 8, 1921, daughter of the late Vincent and Katheryn Wood Taragowski. She had worked for Sperry & Barnes in New Haven and was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Clinton. She was also a member of the Lithuanian Sisters Society, the Pocahontas Society, and the 39ers of Clinton.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancymae Mursko of Clinton; a sister, Kathleen Hanchuruck of Branford; a brother, George Taragowski of Hamden; two grandchildren, Michael DeStefano and Lisa DeStefano Meneo; and two great-grandchildren, Francesca and Giania. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Ludington, and two brothers, Robert and William Taragowski.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m., at St. Mary Church in Clinton. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
