With graduation fast approaching, there is still time to help support the post-graduation, all-night event that is Project Graduation. Those behind the Project Graduation initiative are planning to keep parents and residents busy this May by planning three separate fundraising events.

The annual Morgan Project Graduation Tag Sale, which will benefit the Class of 2011, is scheduled for Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations for the sale will be accepted on weekends in April at the school.

On Sunday, May 22, the Project Graduation team is hosting the Noshing in New York Bus Trip. The trip is designed to visit places such as the Times Square Street Fair, Zabar's Deli, Katz's Deli, and various other places that will satisfy anyone's taste-buds.

Raffle tickets will also be sold in the morning before the bus leaves and travelers are asked to remember their coolers so they can store any treats that they purchase throughout the day.

"The raffle prizes are all about food, mostly," said Mary Ellen Ierardi, one of the chairpersons for Project Graduation 2011. "Cookbooks, gift certificates to Cohen's Bagels, Friendly's, and many more. We also do a 50/50 raffle."

The bus will leave from The Morgan School parking lot no later than 8 a.m. and will return to the same spot at 8 p.m. Tickets are $55 a person; pay in advance to reserve a seat.

"We have 55 seats to sell," Ierardi said. "I am hoping the seats sell quickly; it's a great trip!"

Also, on Tuesday, May 31, Marti the Medium is back by popular demand.

"Our first fundraiser was a huge success," Ierardi said. "I received 13 phone calls the next day from people who wanted to know when she was coming back."

Marti Delvecchio, a medium and self-described "glorified messenger girl" from East Haven, first performed on April 10 at the Indian River Complex, where she read people in the audience.

Her "John Edwards-style" shows are three hours long and are meant to reconnect people with their lost loved ones.

She will be performing from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Morgan School Library, 27 Killingworth Turnpike. Tickets are $65 per person and people are asked to pay in advance to reserve their seats.
