The Sound publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Branford and North Branford. • A 59 year-old man of unknown address was arrested at 10 a.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree.

• A 42 year-old Durham woman was arrested at 4:22 p.m. and charged with larceny in the fifth degree.

• From April 18 to 26 Branford police also issued 45 citations to motorists for using a hand-held cell phone while driving, 22 citations for failure to obey a control signal, eight citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, five citations for operating a motor vehicle without a driver’s license, and two citations for failure to obey a stop sign. One citation was issued for the following: unsafe passing; improper turn, and failure to renew driver’s license.
