A Friend of the Marine Community
It would be hard to imagine a better friend of the Westbrook marine community than First Selectman Noel Bishop.
As first selectman, he played a decisive roll in securing federal and state funds to have Westbrook's harbor dredged. He reached out to Old Saybrook to secure its assistance to re-allocate unused federal funds and brought together state and federal officials in support of this project.
As a marina manager and member of the Harbor Management Commission, I have enjoyed working with First Selectman Bishop. He has always supported our efforts to improve Westbrook's waterfront, and I urge your readers to support his re-election.
