Next Planning Meeting for Nite-in-Hand is March 3
Planning for the 2015 Nite-In-Hand (NIH) celebration is well under way! NIH is a Fun, Safe and Substance free evening of celebration held graduation night at Madison’s Daniel Hand High
School (DHHS). The high school is transformed with elaborate props and decorations so our grads feel as if they’ve been transported to a different place and time. For the past 25 years, NIH has allowed the entire class of Madison’s graduates to celebrate the whole night in a safe environment. It is a wonderful gift that the Madison community continues to give to its high school graduates as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
Participation and help from the whole community is vital for pulling this wonderful event together.
There are many ways you can participate and help, watch for fundraising events around town over the next few months including;
• Come support us at the Senior Auction, on May 1st in the Daniel Hand High School Café at 7:00 p.m. offering an opportunity to come bid on some awesome prizes and services, bring some friends and enjoy the fun for a great cause! (for more information about the auction, contact Michele Freund at michelefreund@aol.com)
• And a few bake sales: 1st date, Saturday April 18th, & the next one will be on Sunday June 7th at Stop and Shop in Madison.
• Come join in the fun, planning the best graduation event around! We meet the 1st Tuesday of the month in the DHHS Media/library room at 7:00 p.m. Next mtg., Tuesday March 3rd. This is the best way to find out the many ways you can help!
