As my term as president of Clinton PTA draws to a close, I would like to reflect on how far we have come, and thank you for allowing me to lead the advocacy for Clinton’s children.

When I became president two years ago, Clinton PTA was at an exciting crossroads. Our membership was growing, we were engaging more administrators and teachers in our work, and our voice was being heard in both our schools and community. People were catching on to what Clinton PTA was really all about, and understanding how different stakeholders could work together toward common goals. It was full of positive energy and creative folks who wanted to build upon the solid foundation built by those who started the organization.

During my term, the energy and accomplishments have gotten even better! While Clinton PTA has proudly advocated for our children in the context of passage of the education budget, we are, as they say, “so much more!” We’re interesting programming, informative newsletters, and a community of knowledge and support. On a personal note, I would like to thank Clinton, and its PTA, for its support and encouragement over the past two years. It has been a great honor serving as the president of Clinton PTA, and I hope I served you well.
