Jeremy Stephen Larkin
Jeremy “Stu” Larkin, 50, of Clinton, passed away suddenly on Jan. 15. He was born on Sept. 29, 1972, in Winsted, to Gail E. (Novak) Larkin and the late Michael D. Larkin of Clinton.
He graduated in 1992 from The Morgan School in Clinton.
He worked for GER in Clinton and previously for M.D. Heser Lawncare. He also spent several years working and living at Deerfield Farm in Durham, where he cherished his time with his daughters.
His love of the outdoors led him to a life of farming and landscaping. At home, he loved working in the yard and garage and attending to his two enormous Christmas cacti. Jeremy was a lifelong fan of the Miami Dolphins. His room was full of anything he could get with the Dolphins logo! He even got his nephew to become an avid fan.
Along with his mother, Jeremy is survived by his daughters, Reba L. Larkin and Gabrielle S. Larkin from Higganum. He is also survived by his sister, Michele McCormick of Mansfield, Massachusetts, her husband Kevin; his nephews, Brendan, Ryan, and Shamus; his brother Richard H. Larkin of Clinton; and several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, at St. Mary Church of the Visitation, 54 Grove Street, Clinton.
