North Haven Police Incident Report for March 17 to 19
The North Haven Courier publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in town. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.
Sunday, March 17
• No arrests were made.
Monday, March 18
• No arrests were made.
• A 32 year-old New Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 3:23 p.m. for misuse of plate, failure to have insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat.
• A 26 year-old West Haven man was issued a misdemeanor summons at 8:18 p.m. for misuse of plate, failure to have insurance, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.
Tuesday, March 19
• A 27 year-old man of Rock Road was arrested at 7:30 p.m. and charged with larceny in the sixth degree and illegal possession.
• A 44 year-old woman of Weaver Circle was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:32 p.m. for failure to have insurance, operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension, and failure to have stop lamps.
• A 44 year-old woman of Benedict Drive was issued a misdemeanor summons at 9:33 p.m. for operating a motor vehicle while under license suspension.
• From March 13 to 19 North Haven police also issued nine citations to motorists for traveling unreasonably fast, seven citations for operating an unregistered motor vehicle, three citations for failure to obey a control signal, three citations for failure to wear a seat belt in the front seat, two citations for failure to carry a driver’s license, two citations for failure to renew registration, and one citation for failure to grant right of way.
