Unofficial vote totals tallied by the Hartford Courant show Westbrook State Representative with a 55% to 45% win over Mary Ellen Klinck of East Haddam for the Democratic 33rd District State Senate candidacy.

Unofficial tallies were 2,393 for Crawford and 1,930 for Klinck.
