Daniel Hand High School linebacker Matt Walsh has reportedly committed to the University of Connecticut. The commitment was announced on Friday during Uconn Football's Media Day.

According to Walsh's profile at Scout.com, the 6-1 linebacker, had visited Temple University and Boston College and had received offers from Delaware and Uconn.

Walsh is an incoming senior at Daniel Hand. He is part of the class of 2013.
